Subject: I still can't believe.....
This night was the first time that I got to see the grateful dead
I actually saw all 3 nights and I was only 13 at the time. How I convinced my parents ... to let me and 3 friends start going to dead shows is beyond me. But thank god I did because it started us all on our journey to touring with the band. We got to see them 8 or 9 times alone in 87. The show itself was alright but again to me and my friends it was the best show ever (even though the my personal favorite is from 77 and it isn't the Cornell show). Our journey with the dead started in 87 and ended in 94. By 94 for me it was over. By 93 actully I thought it was the beginning of the end. I got into the dead in summer of 86 but I still got cosidered a grey head. Whatever. The group and the scene was magical And I am dead to this day
